//// New entrance
Posted on | July 20, 2009 | 3 Comments
The tulle leggings are making a new entrance. This starts to look like me!

Wearing them with a pair of Doc Martens (a steal from eBay), silk slip and hot pink bra.

Sweater is self made, too. Fine laceweight silk-kid mohair mix knitted with giant needles for cobweb-like outlook. Amazing thing here is the lightness of the knit, it weighs under 100 g (about 3 ounces). There is no way to disguise seams in knit like this so I decided to sew this up from the top.

This is SO beautiful, I went out today and bought 4 balls of a deep purple kidsilk haze and have started it tonight! I LOVE the yarn, so beautiful. And it seems as if the garment is going to be very warm.
I have enjoyed reading your blogs over the last couple days, especially this one. I also love the beautiful black panelling you photograph against.

Kruse: it is surprisingly warm, although the gauge is so loose that there is more hole than yarn on the structure. I have some new pictures of it in my camera, and will upload them here in the near future. The panels are actually doors of Ikea wardrobe cabinets!
And thank you!
