//// The colors of my wardrobe
Posted on | September 26, 2009 | 2 Comments
This is a task I have been thinking doing for a while. I photographed the colors of my wardrobe, here are the swatches (black and white not included):

The non-colors: pure grey (in all levels), grey tinged with mauve, blackened purple (NOT wine), blackened brown, blackened olive, greyed pink, greyed purple, thunderstorm grey (grey with blue-purple undertones), dove, off-white, preferably with grey undertones, (cool) beige (not pictured).
Reds and purples: raspberry, neon pink, red purple, dusty mauve, dusty cool pale pink, antique red (not pictured).
Blues: bright cornflower, navy (not pictured), indigo (not pictured)
Greens: bright kelly green, mint, seafoam shades, sage
Yellows: chartreuse leaning more to yellow than to green, pale banana yellow, neon yellow
Browns: cool mud shades, rich chocolate (not pictured), cognac (in accessories, not pictured)
Nude
The challenge: photograph yours!

Well I totally sign the first three and two last rows. I don’t know what’s with me and green/blue tones… the pale mint green something looks very dreamy though.

I see… …there definitely is some familiar tone in your cleared up wardrobe. Cornflower blue is for me on summer, only. But greens go well for me for the whole year, as long as they are cool toned. I have to admit though, that green is my childhood favorite color — and that _might_ affect my choices even these days.
