I’m not all sure what I have been thinking when combining these, but clearly it was one of my girly girl days. Dots with dots remind me always of Rei Kawakubo, but this is so sweet and constructed that the influence is bit far fetched. Circus? Candy wraps? School uniform from Alice in Wonderland?
Whatever, the shirt on top is from Acne, and I really love it although it’s PITA to iron out (see how annoyingly the hem is curling in these pics) and quite uncomfortable. The navy shirt below is lovely thrifted piece from seventies. I don’t know what they have been doing to the cotton of this shirt but it does not require ironing at all. Probably the method killed the flora and the fauna around the textile factory, otherwise this kind of finishing would be regulated by law and mandatory for all shirts. Silk taffeta skirt is from H&M and shoes the ol’ trustworthy Vagabonds. Sorry, I need to cycle the shoes bit more… …and do my hair more often, that side bun makes me look almost groomed.

Tykkään tästä tosi paljon: kuosit, kerrokset ja värit toimivat hienosti yhteen. Tässä on juuri sellaista kiinnostavaa ja herkkää — muttei kuitenkaan hitustakaan imelää! — tyttömäisyyttä, joka on ihan parasta.
Ja mulle tästä tulee kyllä tosi vahvasti kawakubolaiset fiilikset — sehän on aina hyvä se.

Minäkin pidän tästä todella paljon. Jotain ysikytluvun Benettonmaista voisin kenties kuvitella olevan tässä. Sinulla on tosi mielenkiintoinen tyylitaju.

May: varmasti ysäribenetton on ikuinen vaikuttaja pukeutumisessani, siihen aikaan Benetton oli minulle se parempi merkki, jota tuli ostettua jos oli varaa. Tyylitajusta en tiedä, mutta toivottavasti lukijoilla on hauskaa
