//// Zebra print

I think that Marjo Kuusinen and Piia Keto from Kaksi-Två make some finest leggings in Scandinavia. This pair is luxuriously thick and soft nylon, printed with neat, slightly angularized zebra print in cream and ink blue. The graphic version of loud and bold animal print is surprisingly wearable and easy to combine to different outfits, plus somehow the stripes manage to be quite flattering.
Too bad that their web shop seems to be offline (um, it tells that it’s on summer vacation… …so hopefully they will be back soon). I have seen a small selection of their clothes in Helsinki 10.
In addition to my savanna camouflage I’m wearing Complex Geometries strap top with the strap simply over the shoulder, All Saints cardigan that can also be wrapped around in multitude of ways, old Topshop bag & Vagabond wedges.

Very nice! I like how you change your look from day to day, always adding a surprise element — like the leggings now.

Thanks, May!
Of course this is the edited version of reality… …the element of surprise is important for me but there are lots of lazy days with not too much happening with the outfits. But I guess that one point of this type of style diary is to brush up the habits and try at least a bit, otherwise I’m short of material soon, too soon!

Just found your blog through OutsaPop Trashion. Those leggings are awesome! And I like how the layers take away the overpowering nature of the pattern. It can be quite tricky to wear patterned leggings, more so than any other clothing, so well done haha!

Colette: thank you! I agree to you — and it took a while until I even dared to try these on when I saw them hanging on the rack on the department store. But I’m glad I did, this pattern is friendlier than I thought!

I am in love with these zebra print leggings, so interesting and rather tame for an animal print. Love it!
