I just received some press images of Finsk spring / summer 10 collection, called Airelle. The inspiration behind this collection is french animation film, Gandahar by Rene Laloux. It seems to me that anime and animation films are constant source of inspiration for Julia Lundsten — and I don’t complain. I guess that one result is her wonderful way to combine brights to neutrals and of course those architectural, exaggerated shapes that are very recognizable.

I’m very drawn to those delicious combinations of mushroom and vivid coral/pink… …and many of those heels look far from intimidating. But I’m not afraid to add some extra height with some serious heels and I feel that I have to take a closer look of those glorious pewter sandals with origami-like leather composition on the top…

    I love 2nd ones from the top! ridiculously brilliant colour combination and model.
