Scarves and all garments relative to them are definitely my favorite accessories, so I was quite happy to run into this brilliant cowl by Xant Hippe. The price is definitely ok for this kind of huge pile of merino wool, but if you are adventurous this one definitely has some DIY potential.
The cowl is constructed from braided strands — which are braided together to keep the thing as one piece. The lime cowl reveals the construction quite clearly. Pick a super bulky yarn for this, I recommend super soft Twinkle Soft Chunky, luxurious Gedifra Highland Alpaca, or affordable but good Drops Polaris in beautiful heathered shades. Wool or merino roving works for this, too!

Aivan ihanat “kaulurit”!
Keksisitkö sellaista lankavaihtoehtoa, mistä voisi löytyä tuon limen suuntaisia kirkkaampia värejä? Mulla ei ole varastossa kuin pätkävärjättyä (turkoosi-keltainen-oranssi), mutta luulen että siitä tulisi liian levoton.

what gorgeous colors they are in !!! i really have to agree that accessories, such as scarves, can instantly revitalize an outfit from being ordinary to totally outstanding .… xx

Mä olen kovasti tykästynyt Rowan Big Wool –lankaan, olen neulonut siitä esimerkiksi pipoja. Siinä ei ole kovin paljon kirkkaita värivaihtoehtoja, mutta joitakin sentään:

Keijukainen, langoista ei heti tule mieleen muita — tuossa Twinklen Sof Chunkyssä on varmaan värit kirkkaimmasta päästä, verkkosivu vähän haalistaa niitä pastellisemmiksi kuin ovat luonnossa — mutta kirjanmerkeistä kaivoin yhden kivan linkin. The colors are absolutely dreamy! Accessories can also be off from the typical color scheme — and that’s one aspect I especially like in them.

Tietty jos käyttäisi tavallista villahahtuvaa merinovillan sijaan olisi värejäkin tarjolla paljon ja jos kauluri ei onnistu niin sen voi käyttää muuhunkin.
