//// Down to the rabbit hole

I suck in so many things, like posing and using something else than natural light in photography. But I really want to solve this winter light conditions thing somehow, so you have to bear my experimental take on the images.
This is just an outfit post, simple stuff. Gina Tricot leggings and Rützou wedges with sleeveless black tunic underneath a vintage polyester lace dress (I hate the feel of this stuff but like the look so much that it is a keeper), vintage rabbit fur I bought from five euro day from UFF about seven years ago and repaired myself — now there is a new tear in the left elbow. And Jimmy Choo for H&M belt. I love it, it has so long adjustment portion that it can be easily worn on waist and on hips.

like the look! i know exactly how the lace dress feels — hate it too, but lace is so feminine, suits you well. i have come across couple of cotton lace garments but they are a rarity. most of them give you a plastic bag feel. the fur is fantastic. never thought of checking fur in UFF, i have prejudicies…but it does look lovely. belt is the star of the outfit.

I for one love these photos! You make me regret I’ve gotten rid of all my 50’s or 60’s nylon and polyester lace pieces. They feel like plastic bags as themselves but at least look gorgeus when layered like this!

I love that dress, looks very good with studded belt! I’m not a fan of furs, but it’s ok when it’s vintage.

Sun kuvat on ihania!

I actually have slight regrets that I did not buy one beautiful cotton lace dress from Zara this fall. But I have really decided to cut down all my Zara and H&M impulse buys — and it is going pretty well so far…
About the belt — I actually think that it was the actual star of the whole collection. Very heavy, soft and supple leather with beautiful texture (not that there is much of it visible) — and studs are not that annoying type that snag to garments. Looks and feels very expensive.
Sugar Kane: I kind of like the look, too… …but I made the collage out of quite crappy material, but together they are more than the sum of the parts. The bottom image reveals the worst problem, focusing is pure luck with my setting. But it is going to improve NOW, I got myself a beautiful toy: remote!
Yeah, plastic bag is perfect description. Thin cotton layers underneath help a little bit, I changed the tunic to short sleeved version to actually go out with this.
Ulrika, vintage is the only option for me, would never buy new. Thanks!
Anna, kiitos! Ja kuvia, kiitos
