The door in my wardrobe*

*the door not actually being there was a disappointment - but at least I was allowed to play with the clothes

//// Way sub zero

Sorry about the sloppy posting lately, but I’m having some extra work going on — and that means automatically less time for blogging. My photoshoots are always quite light, I’m taking usually only 10 – 20 shoots per post, but then there is always the picking and editing process. Although I try to keep the editing quite minimum, there is always at least some resizing, cropping and color effects going on.

Ok, now i have material for two posts… …winterwear, pretty familiar items, layers, loose shapes, black & white, sloppiness, sensible shoes and mismatching nails. This time I included outerwear images as well, they are so integral to all outfits right now that I feel pretty stupid posting just what’s underneath them. It’s freezing here…

I’m wearing All Saints unfit pants (don’t know if I can exactly call these harem pants, they are like men’s trousers that have gone all wrong from the crotch area), Maison Martin Margiela knit, AA circle Scarf, Necklush, my old rubber band boots. And then I added my old Filippa-K coat, old long suede gloves from H&M, chunky knit beanie. The mint green polish is Essie Mint Candy Apple. Although I feel good in shapes and colors like these there is such an amount of seriousness going on that I need to disturb the whole thing even just a bit — this time by wearing tacky nail color.

    oh, very similar outfit to what i wore today! i also have similar loose “mens” trousers (just got them from Zara for those 15eur) i also had a necklush (copy by Lindex in black with studs)and as a top i wore a watercolour T by Selected Femme in black-white-lime splashes (i never wore a single T so many times in my life i think). Only that i am really envious about your boooooots and want the same ones…:)

    this outfit simply rounded up several major things i love: layering, grayscale, androgyny, contrasts between drapery and structure; combac boots .… and list going on!

    as for the photo — w/ the outdoor shoot we do, we take sooo many photos, which made the editing process extremely exhausting — so, nowadays, i try to keep the outfit post on a daily base — the idea was to shoot 2 photos per day — but, still, easily, we go beyond that — still, comparing w/ the past over hundred photos per shoot, it’s much easier! — nevertheless, blogging is time consuming if you want to do a good job in the content you provide and create esthetically nice layout and pictures (which you do so well) — we all face the issue of how much is too much and how little is too little — striking balance is easy to say — and so damn hard to do .…

    xx
