Oh dear, please kill my Etsy account!
The gadget geek in me got a stroke when I saw this neat little home for my beloved iPhone. Do you se any wires or cords or stuff like that? Neither do I — they don’t exist. It amplifies the sound in quite old fashioned way…
Unfortunately there are no units of iVictrola on sale on Madecraft’s shop anymore…

I think what you’re looking for is the, well, original Phonophone made by Science & Sons: http://www.scienceandsons.com — I believe they sold through another NYC boutique for a while and the idea spread. This one’s porcelain instead of antique brass but does the job well.
(And Tristan who runs S&S is a super guy!)

Beautiful that is. I think that I have seen their Phonofone (without i) in some magazine.
But I don’t seriously think that anyone can actually claim the originality for item like this. Just how long have the megaphones existed?
Nice to see it come out in different design varieties… …like regular loudspeakers. In addition to these two the minimalist (on a budget) can opt to Aircurve.
