//// Spring Necklush

Necklush is a dangerously addictive accessory for a person, who loves scarves in all forms.

My initial reaction to it was that accessory like that is the easiest to DIY. True — if you happen to find the right materials. In Finland fabric retail is small business and selections are not that good. I managed to find only too bright tube jerseys (I don’t want any seams to the strands, detail like that can totally ruin a simple accessory like this) and heavy tube jerseys meant as ribbing for sweaters etc.. The heavy heathered one I bought — and guess what, the heavy jersey does not curl nicely. The thing looks like a pile of rag rug material on my neck. But if you find some lightweigh tube jersey in the color of your liking — it will probably work.

So I end up ordering one — and have absolutely no regrets! My ivory-gray piece is such an outfit uplifter that I truly consider some other color options as well. Black or deep gray for next winter — that’s a no brainer. And for the summer? These pale taupe Necklush strands would be perfect! In addition to their versatility as scarf the piece can be worn also as a squishy belt… …nice. Wouldn’t need tube jersey for these — but on the other hand the particular shade looks perfect!

    oh, i am the person who loves scarves and things like that (my scarf collection in the office is almost is huge as shoe exhibition)! and the colour of the necklush on the pic is, well, probably one of my favourites: very feminine and sensitive…powder pink, or how do you call it in FInnish: “vanha roosa”?

    Looks very cool, and the braided variation still looks good.

    See this was my thinking too. I thought that I could save a lot of money and just try making myself one. With my level of motivation though, I should just buy one. I want the deep purple printed one…
