The door in my wardrobe*

*the door not actually being there was a disappointment - but at least I was allowed to play with the clothes

//// Give me one… …or rather a pair!

Oh dear! I’m not sure if I have to curse or thank my dear fellow blogger Sugar-Kane for introducing me to Saara Kivimäki. Saara is a shoemaker and DJ. Her shoe designs are love childs of sneakers, clogs and all sorts of festive trinkets — and those genes provide surprisingly sweet looking footwear. The attitude and edge of these does not come from toughness, but the contrasts — girly colors and ruffles combined to clumpy shapes and not too obvious sneaker details. They look fresh — and also very wearable, and they would complement my incoherent style perfectly. I’m totally seeing myself next summer bare legged, wearing a short tent dress or such and a pair of coral ruffle wedges… Love at the first sight!

    i knew that i could always find things from you blog that i’ve, otherwise, never would encounter!

    i just hopped over to the blog — i wish there wouldl be more info about the shoes!

    Re: photograph
    i think i’ve been witnessing your progress in self-photography and i am sure that, within time, the pictures will become even more-controlled!

    i’ve had a big discussion w/ a friend the other day about “creative control” — i truly believe it’s something ultra important in our world to be able to mange our creatives in a way that the result can be guaranteed to certain point! certainly, practice and conscious efforts will certainly contribute to that!

    xx

    I was sure you’d love Saara’s shoes! I’m trying to get an interview with her, super-excited about her stuff.

What do you think?
