The door in my wardrobe*

*the door not actually being there was a disappointment - but at least I was allowed to play with the clothes

//// Self-deception, the good kind

No, it is not time for shorts and even these very walking friendly platforms are still bit risky considering my bad balance and the amount of ice still left (I still made it to grocery shopping for lunch — just not telling that the market is actually across the street…). But the sun is shining like ALL THE TIME and I’m feeling so positive because of that! So excuse my fashion blog cliche pile — at least I tried to offset it a bit with mixing things up. Note: this is not irony… …it’s just like couple of my few flowery garments sneaking out from the wardrobe to enhance my positive mood…

The tunic is several years old Lindex find from some sale rack — and it has surprisingly nice details for a cheapie cheap cloth: very lightweight soft hand cotton, nice unfinished trimmings on hem and neckline, fabric covered buttons. And the length is fun… …like almost a dress… The boots are from Vagabond, tights and jean shorts from H&M (yay — I can use the tights I broke under the OTK:s), coat is ancient Filippa-K and the vest Zara — but acquired as second hand. I still love the front lace detailing of these Vagabond boots. Still don’t like the heel. They are quite loose — but I sort of like that. Would love to add an OTK boot pair with perfect heel and well fitting leg to my wardrobe. From my point of view (badly scarred right knee) those should be actually considered as necessary basics — and definitely purchased as long as they are all over…

The dreaded SCRUNCHIE has made it to this blog, permanently!

    These are nice boots, but you say that the heel is not to your liking. They already look like spats,…hm… And you look tight as a drum!

    Yeah, the heel design is so unbalanced — and I would also like it to be couple of cm higher. But I’m forgiving it because the leg is so nice — and these are also heavenly to walk. I will take a pic of it when I’m wearing these next time.

    Haha, a drum… …round as an one — at least. But you are right in that sense that my arms and legs take the training quite well — and I really see the results there. My middle body is a different story, but now I have strategy for that, too. I sort of wish that weight control would not be so hard for me. It’s not that my habits are that bad…

    Tessa, I’ll bet that you have quite lovely weather there!

    Vagabond actually is quite great reasonably priced Swedish label, the designs are often quite mainstream, but they sometimes have some neat surprises.

    I had some Vagabond shoes and loved them, but here the selection in shops is average. Are they true-to-size?
    Hey, you looks great! Couple of years ago, during studies I was exactly same size and shape like you for a year or two and hiding the middle-part seamed to be a chore. Once when I was back to my usual weight, I never managed to dress up so elegantly as when I had the thing to hide. I had much better posture then, too, you know, from sucking the thing in, ha, ha..

    Haha, never mind! Vagabonds are pretty true to size — maybe just a bit on a large side, especially the low heeled ones.

    Yeah, I completely understand the posture thing —  too bad I try to hide my large chest often by slouching. But I have consciously learned to avoid that (although I still have to correct the upper back posture occasionally). Yoga was a great help with posture.

    haha — love the writing darling!!! the cheerfulness of spring can not be avoid — so this outfit of all different mixture — and the very floral motif — is the voice not to be missed, xx
