The door in my wardrobe*

*the door not actually being there was a disappointment - but at least I was allowed to play with the clothes

Ok, tell you what… …this is one reason I can not promise to a) be brand snob b) be too touchy about where I have been seen doing my shopping.

Because if I look around there is great stuff in unexpectable places. These adornments are from very grown up profiled high street chain called Chico’s. I run them accidentally via BleachBlack when googling some ethnic costume jewelry — that again is probably the aftermath of seeing The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus.

They are affordable, they ship internationally, materials look good and some of the pieces are huge. Or gigantic. And did I say that they are affordable.

Can I has?

I always related Chico’s to clothing for middle-aged women. I guess they carry cool jewelry too!

I absolutely adore the top left gold necklace and the bottom right turquoise one. I’ve never heard of this place, but I’m going to shop there for some cool pieces!

Oh, I have really gotten into all sorts of robes — probably because of my kimono craze. The online selection was bit poor — but I’m definitely keeping my eye on it!

I’m contemplating here about ordering or not ordering… …I also love the gold nugget thing with detachable part and chainmail… …that’s ridiculously cheap, too.

Edit… …just found out that the international shipping costs are $30. My breaking point is around $15 — so no ordering! But I still like all of them!

Too bad about the shipping costs, some of the pieces look amazing. And huge size is never a bad thing!

I love the first one, plus the 5th is really interesting (turquoise beads look so fresh at the moment).
