For me the spring really starts when I can go out with bare legs. I’m not too sensitive to cold, but this spring my bare-legged sprints outside have been very short ones. However I have managed to pick up a coffee from our downstairs cafe wearing bare legs and Miuccia Prada silhouette. Why am I always thinking about her from simple outfits consisting full (printed and / or embellished) skirts, plain tops and flats? Conservative — yes, but also super comfortable.
AA sweatshirt (I need a sturdier and more close fitting sweatshirt with large neckhole), old Filippa-K printed and metal sequin embellished skirt, Pretty Ballerinas ponyskin printed flats, old metal bead choker as bracelet. Especially the back view reveals how short torso I have.
I have been unbelievably lazy with my hair lately — but I decided to improve my habits. Hair dresser on Monday, can’t really remember the previous time — maybe some three years ago when I decided to stop dyeing my hair

Hyvältä näyttää! Ilmeisesti tässä on nyt se tapa, millä vanhat printtihameet vois vielä saada käyttöön. Tarvitsen ehdottomasti myös vastaavia paitoja. Kyllähän tästä kieltämättä Prada tulee mieleen.
Mainio muuten tuo kontrasti hameen printin ja ballerinojen välillä. Lisäksi pitää mainita, et tykkään et kaivelet vanhojakin juttuja käyttöön. Itse unohdan kaiken ostamani, kaappini taitaa syödä ne… Lookit on paljon mielenkiintoisempia, kun kaikki ei ole vain uutta.

Vastustan kertakäyttöajattelua pukeutumisessa ja yritän täydentää vaatekaappia jutuilla, jotka kestävät pitkään käytössä. Omalla kohdallani tämä ei tosin tarkoita välttämättä mitään “laadukkaita perusjuttuja” — pikemminkin yritän ohjautua tunteella ja etsin arkipäiväisissäkin vaatteissa jotain erityistä. Jos rakastan vaatetta jo ostohetkellä, tiedossa on luultavasti pitkä yhteinen taival!
Muistan tykänneeni tästä hameesta jo Filipan mallistokuvissa — mutta lopullisen päätöksen tein heti kun käsi osui helman metallipaljetteihin. Ne antavat kevyelle puuvillahameelle mukavasti painoa — ja lähietäisyydeltä näyttävät paremmille kuin muoviset sukulaisensa!

Todellakin, vaatteiden kertakäyttö ahdistaa. Olen syyllistynyt siihen aivan liian kauan, ja syyllistyn valitettavasti jonkun verran edelleenkin. Siitä pitäis pyrkiä pois, ja valita ostokset huolellisemmin. Onneksi olen sentään oppinut materiaaliasiat muutama vuosi sit, joten vaatteet tuntuu kestävän paremmin.
Mulla on muuten sama juttu, en osaa ostaa laadukkaita perusjuttuja, vaan on pakko mennä tunteella. En vain jaksa innostua täydellisestä valkoisesta paidasta tms.

Love this outfit, it feels very balanced between pretty and practical to me, and it looks very cosy and comfortable as well, something I strive for. Quite perfect for a Sunday!
The good part about having a short torso (I do as well) is that the legs seem much longer!

Jos et ole vielä ehtinyt kiikuttaa vanhoja kirppikselle, niin nythän on kevätauringon loisteessa mainio aika tehdä löytöretki omaan vaatekaappiin!
You are absolutely right about this body type and I do like accentuate my legs. This “flaw” is also very easy to balance when needed.

Hehe, it is so true! You are not too sensitive to cold.
What I’ve always found a bit unfair is that your spring starts always so much earlier than mine (when in the same latitude).
And the outfit looks super! Waiting to see photos of your new hair.
