All the wedges are not like these - for example my Rützou ankle boots are almost as high as these - but the platform is bit thinner, the shoe bends a bit and there is good heel support. They are super comfortable and very easy to walk. But I'll bet that rubber grip sole would do good for these. The leg is healing very well, I have still pain but the range of movement is back to normal... ...what a relief. Stellagee - I guess that my heel skills extend to the exactly same point - and I have no interest to exercise them further. It would probably cost me a limb. Auts - kuulostaa tosiaan mahdottomalle - mutta näitähän sattuu! Onneksi et jäänyt auton alle (niistä ei sentään torilla ollut pelkoa)! Hakaniemi is designed in such a way that cobblestones can't be avoided when taking bus to the north/eastbound lines - and Hakaniemi market hall is also surrounded by those picturesque little death traps - so I guess I just have to adapt my footwear choices.
