//// Vietto photoshoot

I had a great honor to do a photoshoot for my friend, Minna Kaartinen, who has the pair of busy hands behind the small indie eco fashion brand Vietto. Minna designs very useful daily separates and great accessories from recycled materials, the softest eco cotton jersey, fluid bamboo jersey, handpainted fabrics… …and guess what, she is sewing / knitting / making every single piece herself at her home studio!
The pieces are not actual collection, so we decided to style them one piece at a time, with simple nude separates. The site was the awesome Merikaapeli hall at Kaapelitehdas. We did both simple lookbook/product images and bit of moody set, utilizing the beautiful natural light shining through the giant factory windows. Our model is Essi Vahala, I found her shopping at Forum H&M. So the whole thing was done by amateurs… …but I think that Essi’s gorgeusness and very photogenic Vietto apparel easily compensate my shortcomings in the art of photography and make-up.
Most of these items are available at Vietto Etsy shop.

Thank you sooo much for this lovely post about our photoshoot, it was such fun and photos are amazing! There’re quite few things available in my Etsy shop yet, but I’m listing new as soon as possible! Thanks Jaana! And of course huge thanks to Essi and Cable Factory staff!

The photos suit the mood of the clothes very well — I really the neutral colour palette of beige to black.

Aivan mielettömiä kuvia ja todella puhuttelevia vaatteita! Taidankin ottaa siis suunnan tuonne Etsyn puolelle, loppu-ilta taitaakin kulua ihastelun merkeissä
