All these beautiful leather items are from Etsy seller Karen Kell. The pieces are folk and vintage inspired — but still manage to look fresh. These are not even the only gems I spotted in her extensive Etsy shop. I relly like the link structure she uses in both shoes and bags, combined to the hand tooled leather it somehow brings Rodarte to my mind. Gorgeous work!

You are quite right, these are real eye-catchers — brilliant. I wonder if they’re comfortable, though. All that wood.

Personally I do find wooden soles challenging to walk — the rigidness means that there is absolutely no “feel” of the ground. But I still do love these!
