I have promised myself to step out the black shoe rut. And to be honest, maroon and purple options start to look very good to my eye. These booties are from Yoox, by Dsquared2 and Diesel. Either ones would do. Or both of them!

Velvet looks so sumptuous right now! I could accommodate my toes to these Castañer wedges for the holiday season.

Ok… …these Dsquared heels are perfection. I love the shape, the straps, the nylon plus velcro *sic* combined to lacquered leather (I have a serious weakness for high-low combinations like this), the heavy rubber sole, ample amount of simple buckles, the padding on the top, sizes 38,5 and 39 both left… …perfect — except that I’m 580 € short.
